(08/29) When Jr. is out there racing, it isn't surprising when a photo pops up every now and then. I mean, he finds something to drive -as it says on one of his older shirts- "any time, any place." But this past week he isn't the only one getting a little coverage. With Dad having me steer the Rasmussen Auto Supply/Moses Motor Company/Complete Countertops/Harris Decals #2, I actually made my presence on the world wide web as well. In fact, Ed "Zippy" Opp was also captured. So here's some places you can go to see the Drouds in action:
-bapics.com- Brandon got Jr. at the 360 Nationals in the DARE 2 Team sprinter and the Sedalia ASCS/WOW show in the Smith #86. But he also found Zippy and I in the pits during the 360 Nationals.
-eagleraceway.com- Longtime photographer and friend, Joe Orth, took a shot of me in #2 early in the "A" Feature at the August 22 show at Eagle.
-heartlandracenews.com- Jason Orth, no relation to Joe, got me not once, but twice in the same show at Eagle Raceway (actually, a great shot for Zippy's business, Complete Countertops).
I know I can speak for Jr. when I say how much we appreciate what these guys do for us. And as I've always said, it's amazing how they can make an old guy like me look like I'm standing on the gas!
