(09/11) The DARE 2 Team is back at full strength and will finish their season this weekend at Butler County Speedway and Eagle Raceway.
After a "testing" weekend where I drove the car to a 7th place finish at Eagle (three weeks ago), it's believed that we found the "bug" that took us out of contention at the Knoxville 360 Nationals. With that said, the team is confident that with Jr. back in the seat we have the car, and driver, to make a run at the big paydays at both venues.
Jr., who had a good run in Skip Smith's #44 midget earlier this summer in Rising City, has a history of making FAST laps at the high-banked facility. In addition, he's made some major noise over the years at Eagle, which should also put him in good position heading into Saturday's $5,000 to win event.
Come cheer the Rasmussen Auto Supply/Casey's General Stores/Moses Motor Company/Complete Countertops/Harris Decals/Lincoln Drywall #2 into victory lane either tonight and Saturday OR come out both nights.
The races should be a thrilling way to end the 2009 season in Nebraska!
