Thanksgiving Feast

(11/26)I know, I know- it's been a LONG time since I've updated the site. There really has been a lot going on since before we captured our 5th place finish at the talent-rich Nebraska Cup, but lazy me...

So let's move to the current reality. With Thanksgiving Day upon us that means, besides overeating and family fellowship, Ed Kosiski's Turkey Chase Race at the Lancaster Event Center will be a large part of the Droud clan's plans.

This year will include a large contingent of Drouds. Jr., the one who seems to pick up rides at almost every venue and every class of racing machine, will be driving for Rod Hendrickson. Apparently he'll be racing in the same class as Isaiah, as we've worked out a deal for him to steer an Uncle Frank's machine for the weekend. In addition to the two Droud boys, two of Sr.'s grandsons will also be piloting their family-owned cage karts, John in the Schwindt-machine and Ian in the Lyon-racer.

The racing begins Friday evening at 6:00 and runs throughout the weekend, with the Finale on Sunday afternoon.

For a Droud, it just doesn't get any better than this. And we're awfully 'thankful' for it too!
