 | Friends Combine Forces | | |
(12/29) Sometimes it's good to show your "stuff" on your own, while other times it's good to get together and utilize each other's strengths. That's exactly what happened after the "No Bull" Midget Nationals in Kansas City.
DARE 2 Team driver, Don Droud, Jr., ended his 2009 racing campaign behind the seat of the Skip Smith-owned 44 at the aforementioned event held in Kemper Arena two weeks ago. While Jr. had pretty substantial results (finished 10th on Friday -although was in 5th on the final lap, only to get caught up in a Dave Darland spin- and 5th on Saturday), he was also captured on film by longtime family friend, Joe Orth.
Here's where forces combined: Joe used his masterful skills to get some crisp shots of Jr at the track and then handed those "works of art" off to web site guru, Brad Brown. Brad, who is well-known for his IBRACN site, added them for your viewing pleasure.
So, for some great photos of Jr., and then some, go to www.ibracn.com. After perusing his entire site, click on the "Action Photos" link and there you will get your fill of close to 50 shots from the race.
Thanks to Joe and Brad both for their continued involvement in racing!
